About Us

In 2023, William Scott established Scottie in South Florida to address the need for safe and functional mobility aids. Mr. Scott had experienced a severe leg injury while preparing for the US Olympic Tae-Kwon-Do Trials in the 80s, enduring long reliance on wheelchairs, crutches, and canes. After encountering numerous issues with functionality and safety, he recognized the importance of safe mobility devices. Determined to make a difference, Mr. Scott designed the Scottie line, prioritizing high-quality, comfortable, and safe products. This endeavor involved several years of development and countless prototypes. With the guidance of an advisory board comprising over 50 physicians specializing in Sports Medicine, Podiatry, and Orthopedics, Dynamo successfully created a range of mobility aids that met the industry's need for safety, quality, and functionality. The Scottie Cane, Versa Cane, and Standup Cane are all adjustable products that restore mobility and confidence, incorporating scientifically-based designs. Our commitment to quality ensures that our devices are comfortable and durable.

About our Technology

Scottie's innovative technology includes the Cyclone tip, featuring advanced articulating grip technology that increases surface contact. This larger tip remains in contact with the ground for improved grip while moving, and its grooves effectively channel out water, reducing the risk of slips. It performs exceptionally well on surfaces such as tile, hardwood, sand, gravel, grass, and carpets. The V-Tech grip, characterized by a palm-down position and two built-in springs, offers several advantages to users. Its larger grip distributes body weight across a wider surface area, alleviating pressure on the hand. By keeping the hold in the palm rather than the fingers, the V-Tech design reduces strain on the wrist and hand, minimizing discomfort associated with traditional cane handles.

About our Design

At Scottie, our designs prioritize ergonomics and safety. The crossbow design of our modern walking canes ensures balance while walking, thanks to a 12-degree bend. This feature creates a center of balance, providing stability and eliminating concerns about the cane slipping. Mr. Scott's experience walking with an unreliable product fueled his determination to eliminate that worry for others. Our mobility aids are crafted from a lightweight yet robust aluminum material with anywhere-grip Eva foam. They resist rattling, dings, water, rust and can conquer any terrain. With Scottie, you can confidently take your mobility device anywhere you go!
